Job Description

The NPI Supervisor leads cross-functional teams through new product introduction, ensuring successful product launches that meet quality, cost, and schedule goals. This role combines program management, technical expertise, and team leadership within a manufacturing environment.

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Pay: $65k/annually

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:
Lead NPI projects from planning through production; manage schedules, task allocation, communication, and customer audits.
Oversee engineering documentation, procedures, and project files.
Report project status, risks, and KPIs to senior management.
Coordinate APQP stages (Plan, Design, Development, Validation & Correct).
Drive DFM, value engineering, and continuous improvement (Kaizen).
Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements (IATF, VDA, ISO 9001:2015, Core Tools).
Implement and improve quality, safety, and environmental processes.
Supervise engineers/technicians, manage headcount and resource planning.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred (Engineering or Business focus ideal).
5+ years NPI experience and 5+ years in a supervisory/lead role.
4+ years managing KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical/electrical principles, CAD, and PCBA/SMT processes.
Proven project management experience from scope through execution.
Certifications preferred: Project Management, Core Tools, VDA, ISO 31000:2018.
